Growing Your Purium Business with Debbie Darling: How to Use Blogs + Permalinks to Grow Your Business

How to Use Blogs and Permalinks to Grow Your Purium Business

In this training, Debbie Darling, Purium Business Unit Director, shared a practical strategy for helping Brand Partners make every post, story, and direct message count. The focus of the call was simple but powerful: if you are already sharing Purium online, make sure every link you share is connected back to you.

Debbie explained that many Brand Partners are posting great content, but customers often do not know how to buy from the correct person. When a customer Googles Purium or lands on the general company website, they may enter the wrong gift code, get connected to another Brand Partner, or abandon the purchase altogether. That is why permalinks are so important. A permalink is a personalized Purium link with your gift code built in, allowing customers to browse, shop, and check out while staying tied to your account.

A major highlight of the training was the Purium blog. Debbie described the blog as a “secret weapon” because it gives Brand Partners professionally written educational content they can share without having to create everything from scratch. Blog posts help build trust before someone buys, and when the blog link includes your gift code, any product links inside that article can lead the customer back to a shopping experience connected to you.

Debbie showed how to create a blog permalink using Puriumpermalinks.com. Brand Partners can select “Purium Blog,” choose an available blog article from the dropdown, enter their gift code, and generate a personalized link. She also explained that even if a specific blog is not listed in the dropdown, Brand Partners can still create their own permalink by adding ?giftcard=YOURCODE to the end of the blog URL.

The call focused heavily on two timely May opportunities: Sleep Nightly and the Purium 12-Week Reset. Debbie encouraged Brand Partners to share the Sleep Nightly blog right away because free 3-night samples were being included with May orders while supplies lasted. She also reminded everyone that customers who submit a Sleep Nightly review within the promotional window can receive access to a 50% off offer for a full-size Sleep Nightly purchase.

For the Purium 12-Week Reset, Debbie highlighted the May promotion tied to ULT and LTD subscriptions. Customers who begin in May can qualify for free products over the first three months, including Coco Hydrate, Aloe Digest, and other related rewards depending on the subscription type. She encouraged Brand Partners to use the 12-Week Reset blog as an educational overview, then follow up with a direct message or cart permalink when someone is ready to order.

Debbie also clarified the difference between blog permalinks and cart permalinks. Blog permalinks are best for soft selling, education, social posts, stories, and initial conversations. Cart permalinks are better for prospects who are ready to buy because the products are already loaded into the cart. Used together, the blog warms up the customer, and the cart link helps close the sale.

Several common mistakes were covered, including sharing company links without a gift code, sending people to the homepage instead of a specific blog or cart, only posting without following up through DMs, and making people ask for the link. Debbie’s advice was to always have the correct permalink ready and include it in every post, caption, story, and conversation.

During the Q&A, Debbie answered several helpful operational questions. She confirmed that customers need a gift code to place an order, explained how abandoned cart leads appear when someone enters their information but does not complete the purchase, and shared that Brand Partners can transfer reward points to customers in increments of $10 up to $50. She also clarified that many promotional points are uploaded on Mondays for the previous commission week, while certain programmed points, such as UBT and lifestyle points, appear automatically.

The training ended with a clear challenge: create a blog permalink, share the Sleep Nightly blog with your personalized link, and send it directly to at least three people via DM. Debbie reminded everyone that every post is a seed, and the permalink makes sure you are the one who gets to harvest it.
