Growing Your Purium Business with Debbie Darling: Know Your Numbers. Make Your Next Move.

Know Your Numbers, Make Your Next Move: How to Finish the Month Strong

In this Growing Your Purium Business training, Debbie Darling focused on a simple idea for the final days of August: finishing strong does not mean pushing harder. It means paying closer attention.

With only a few days remaining in the month, Debbie encouraged Brand Partners to use the information already available in their back office to identify who may need a follow-up, who may be at risk of losing rewards, who has already shown interest, and who has recently started and could use additional support.

The goal is not to create pressure for customers or prospects. Debbie emphasized that the calendar may create urgency for the Brand Partner, but it should not create pressure for the person on the other side of the conversation. Month-end activity should stay clear, warm, personal, and useful.

Recognition and the “Echo Effect”

Before beginning the training, Debbie highlighted Purium’s weekly recognition efforts. The back office now features ongoing recognition for actions Brand Partners are taking throughout the community.

She encouraged leaders to create an “echo effect” around that recognition. When someone on your team is recognized, do not let the recognition stop with a corporate announcement. Send that person a text, voice message, or personal congratulations.

The purpose is to build a community where people feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated for the consistent actions they are taking.

The week’s numbers included 163 new customers and Brand Partners across the United States and Canada, 459 people participating in Zooms, and 285 stories shared through Widen Your Reach and Share Because You Care. Debbie also shared that 96 additional transformations began during the week and 27 members had continued into month three of their transformation journey.

Look Beyond the Numbers

The central message of the training was that back-office reports are not simply collections of numbers.

An inactive account represents a person you may want to reconnect with. Expiring rewards represent a customer who could lose value if no one gives them a heads-up. A lead or open conversation represents someone who may simply need the next question. A new customer or Brand Partner represents someone who may need guidance after getting started.

Debbie identified four key areas to review before the month ends:

Inactive customers and win-back opportunities: Look for people who have not ordered recently and may have a reason to reconnect.

Expiring rewards points: Identify customers whose available rewards are approaching their expiration date.

Conversations already in motion: Follow up with people who have asked questions, attended a Zoom, expressed interest, or previously said the timing was not right.

People who have already started: Make sure new customers, returning customers, and new Brand Partners know what to do next.

The idea is to turn data into conversations and conversations into meaningful next actions.

The $20 Win-Back Rewards Campaign

One of the most important updates on the call involved inactive customers.

Debbie explained that customers whose last order was in January 2026 or during 2025 have been given $20 in rewards points as part of a win-back effort.

Rather than leading immediately with the $20 offer, Debbie recommended reconnecting with the person first. Ask how they are doing. Remember what products they previously used or enjoyed. Then let them know that you noticed they have $20 available in rewards points and offer to help them see what they could use those points toward.

Her recommended order was simple: reconnect first, offer second.

She also noted that Brand Partners who have been inactive for six months transition to customer status, so these win-back opportunities will appear as customers in reporting.

Do Not Let Rewards Expire in Silence

Brand Partners were also encouraged to check for customers with rewards points expiring on August 31.

Debbie walked through where to find them in the back office by going to Team Reports > Down Lines Rewards Points and filtering the rewards expiration date for 8/31/2026.

According to the training, customers who do not use those expiring points by August 31 will no longer see that value in their account on September 1.

Purium may send reminder emails, but Debbie stressed that personal outreach can make the difference. A simple heads-up from the Brand Partner can help make sure a customer is aware of what they have available.

The approach is not to pressure the customer into ordering. It is to inform them, ask whether they would like help, and guide them if they do.

Move the Conversations That Are Already Moving

Debbie then turned to people who have already shown some level of interest.

They may have attended a Zoom, asked a question, said they would think about it, expressed interest, or said “not yet.”

These people are not starting from zero.

Instead of repeatedly explaining Purium from the beginning, Brand Partners can determine what the person actually needs next. They may need one answer, another invitation, a follow-up, or simply a direct question.

Warm conversations are often closer to a next step than starting an entirely new conversation.

Support the People Who Already Said Yes

The training also emphasized that the relationship does not end when an order is placed.

New customers may need help understanding how to begin. Current customers may need a check-in to make sure they are actually using what they ordered. Returning customers may benefit from guidance on staying consistent. New Brand Partners may need help identifying their first action.

Debbie summarized this by reminding the group that the order starts the relationship, but guidance helps continue it.

Know Your Own Numbers Too

The back office also helps Brand Partners understand what they personally need to accomplish before month-end.

Debbie encouraged everyone to review personal volume, group volume, actively enrolled requirements, and their Rank Progress Report. She specifically reminded the group that the personal volume field should show 50 to meet the active associate requirement she discussed for commissions.

The purpose of checking these numbers is clarity. Once you know what is missing, you can determine which action makes the most sense instead of reacting to month-end with panic or pressure.

As Debbie put it, numbers create clarity, and clarity creates action.

Five People, Five Actions

Debbie closed the core training with a very practical challenge.

Identify five people and connect each one with one of five actions:

Reconnect: Choose one inactive customer.

Recover: Choose one person with rewards points expiring.

Move: Choose one open conversation that needs a follow-up.

Support: Choose one customer or Brand Partner who has already started and may need guidance.

Ask: Choose one person who may already be ready for the next step.

With several days remaining in August, Brand Partners could take one of these actions each day.

The goal is not to do everything at once. It is to make the next useful move.

Debbie summarized the approach with one of the strongest takeaways from the call: one report, one name, one action.

Field Tips From Brand Partners

Several Brand Partners also shared what helps them finish a month strong.

Melissa Hanson emphasized asking happy customers for referrals and helping newer Brand Partners role-play conversations so they feel confident sharing naturally rather than approaching people with desperation or pressure.

Sonia Magruder encouraged newer Brand Partners to return to the fundamentals, including completing their action plan, becoming emotionally connected to their personal “why,” building their contact list, and using connect calls with an upline mentor.

She also recommended tracking conversations and results. By understanding your own ratio of conversations to enrollments, you can create a more realistic activity target and avoid becoming discouraged after only a few conversations.

Another Brand Partner emphasized the value of consistently plugging into Purium’s corporate calls, both for personal support and to help newer team members stay connected to the community.

August Hashtag Recognition

The call also recognized winners from three August hashtag contests: #PHPPantry, #PHPSummerSmoothie, and #PHPReadyForSchool.

Each contest had 10 winners, for a total of 30 recognized Brand Partners. Each winner received 200 GQV promo points.

The recognition tied directly back to Debbie’s opening message: consistent actions matter, and celebrating those actions helps create a stronger community.

The Takeaway

Finishing strong is less about doing more and more about noticing what is already in front of you.

Your back office can show you who has gone quiet, who may lose rewards, who is already interested, who needs support, and what your own business needs before the month closes.

Then it comes down to a simple rhythm:

Reconnect. Recover. Move. Support. Ask.

Know your numbers, see the people behind those numbers, and make the next useful move.
