Why Purium Needs You Now More Than Ever
Dave Sandoval opened the August 11 Zoom with a direct question for Brand Partners: Do you realize how much Purium needs you right now?
That question became the foundation for a conversation about relationships, trust, food quality, and the simple conversations that can introduce someone to Purium without making the experience complicated or intimidating.
Dave’s central message was that Purium needs Brand Partners because the world still needs what Purium represents, and Brand Partners are the connection between the company and the people it may otherwise never reach.
Purium’s Relationship Economy
Dave described Purium as a “relationship economy.” Rather than building the business primarily through paid influencers, advertising, retail shelf space, brokers, and distributors, Purium has historically invested in people and personal relationships.
Brand Partners often know the people behind the company. Some have met Dave and Amy, toured the facility, participated in events, and built relationships with Purium over many years. That direct connection gives Brand Partners something that conventional advertising cannot easily recreate: genuine familiarity and trust.
When a Brand Partner recommends something they personally know, use, and believe in, the conversation can feel very different from an advertisement.
Dave compared this to recommending a favorite restaurant or movie. People naturally tell friends about things they enjoy. Each sincere recommendation can create what he called an “echo effect,” where one person’s experience reaches another person, who then shares it again.
That is how one relationship can become a much larger circle of influence.
Why Trust in Food Matters
From there, Dave shifted the conversation toward why he believes Purium is increasingly relevant.
A major theme was trust in the food supply.
Dave discussed concerns about contamination, chemical residues, cross-contamination, sourcing, and knowing where food actually comes from. His larger point was not simply about one ingredient or one headline. It was about the importance of having a food company whose sourcing, manufacturing, testing, and quality standards you can know and understand.
He contrasted Purium’s direct relationship with customers against the many layers that can exist in conventional retail. Manufacturers, distributors, brokers, retailers, advertising companies, and other intermediaries can all stand between the person producing a food and the person consuming it.
At Purium, Dave emphasized the value of being closer to the source.
Quality Food Is Not Always Easy to Find
Another major part of the discussion focused on accessibility.
Dave shared his own experience trying to find a wide variety of high-quality organic produce. Even when someone has access to stores known for natural or organic products, the selection can vary significantly.
For people living in areas with fewer options, the challenge can be even greater.
Then there is freshness. Fresh produce requires shopping, transportation, storage, preparation, and often frequent replacement. Fruits and vegetables can spoil before they are used, and preparing fresh juices or meals can require considerable time.
Dave used those realities to highlight one of the practical benefits he sees in Purium: convenient access to carefully sourced foods delivered directly to someone’s home.
Understanding Cost Versus Value
Dave also challenged Brand Partners to think differently about price.
Food costs have increased, but price alone does not necessarily tell someone what they are receiving. Dave encouraged the group to distinguish between cost and value.
His point was that evaluating Purium only by the price of a container or program misses the larger picture. Quality, sourcing, convenience, testing, nutrient density, and the combination of ingredients all contribute to the overall value proposition.
Rather than competing to offer the cheapest possible food, Dave said Purium’s focus is on maintaining and continuing to improve quality.
Start a Conversation, Not a Presentation
The final major training section focused on something immediately practical for Brand Partners: how to begin talking with people.
Dave encouraged everyone not to make the first conversation too heavy.
Someone who has never heard of Purium may not be ready for a complete explanation of the Ultimate Lifestyle Transformation, multiple products, the business opportunity, and the entire company story.
Instead, start with something that already matters to that person.
Dave offered five conversation topics:
- Sleep. Ask someone how they slept or whether they would like to sleep better. If the conversation connects, a relevant Purium educational blog can become a natural follow-up.
- Lean muscle. Muscle, protein, strength, and healthy aging can create another approachable entry point for a conversation.
- Fruits and vegetables. Ask whether someone feels they get enough fruits and vegetables and whether the foods they choose are organic. This can naturally lead to a discussion about convenient nutrition.
- Parasite cleansing. Dave suggested using curiosity around cleansing as a way to invite someone into an educational conversation or even a group experience.
- Heavy metal detox. This was another topic Dave suggested as a potential conversation opener, particularly when paired with educational content and community support.
The important part was not memorizing a sales pitch. It was asking a sincere question, listening to the response, and then sharing something relevant.
Let Purium’s Blogs Help Continue the Conversation
Dave repeatedly encouraged Brand Partners to use Purium’s blogs.
Instead of trying to personally explain everything about a complicated wellness topic, a Brand Partner can begin the conversation and then offer to send a short article.
That keeps the interaction educational and gives the person space to explore at their own pace.
Dave also explained that Brand Partners can connect their information to the blog experience so that someone interested in learning more or shopping can remain connected to the person who originally shared the article.
In other words, the Brand Partner’s job does not have to be delivering an hour-long presentation. Sometimes the job is simply identifying someone’s interest and helping them find the next resource.
Every Transformation Starts Somewhere
Dave reminded the group that people rarely begin their Purium journey by immediately understanding everything.
A transformation may start with learning about one product.
A business may start with one recommendation.
A new customer may begin by reading one blog.
A future Brand Partner may begin by joining one cleanse group or asking one question.
The objective is to open the door.
Once a genuine conversation begins, there is no need to force where it goes next.
Community Q&A
The final portion of the call opened the floor to Brand Partners.
Troy Casey shared how he has been using support calls and conversations around cleansing and hydration topics to keep his community engaged.
Allison Greenbaum asked about positioning more Purium foods as “living foods.” Dave explained that Purium tests its greens for enzyme activity and said there are products he believes could be more clearly identified around live enzyme characteristics. He also clarified that not every Purium product fits that description and specifically distinguished products such as Super Aminos, chlorella, and spirulina.
Saree Neubauer asked what makes Purium’s pea protein different. Dave described the pea protein as germinated and discussed its protein profile in relation to collagen and polyphenols.
The questions reinforced another theme from the training: Brand Partners do not need to know everything before beginning a conversation. Curiosity, education, and connection can keep the conversation moving.
The Bigger Message
The message Dave returned to throughout the Zoom was simple: Purium needs people who are willing to connect with other people.
The opportunity begins with trust.
It grows through authentic conversations.
And it does not require starting with the entire Purium story.
Ask a good question. Listen. Share something useful. Help someone discover the next step.
That one conversation may be where their Purium journey begins.
