1. Introduction

• Theme: AI is a powerful tool, but it’s only as good as the human input we give it.
  
• Mindset: Human-first approach — AI is here to serve us, not replace us.  Let AI support, not replace, human creativity.
  

2. Key Concepts

A. Input = Output: “Garbage in, garbage out (GICO principle). If you put vegetables in the oven, you can’t expect a cake to come out.”

• Whatever you put into AI is what comes back in some version.
• Analogy: Just like an oven can’t turn vegetables into cake, AI can’t produce great results without thoughtful, quality input.
• Clarity, context, and detail improve results.
  
• Treat AI like a collaborator, not a magician.

B. AI as a Mirror: “AI is a mirror. Whatever you put in is what will come out in some version.”

• Reflects your instructions and intentions.
  
• Without clarity, results may be generic or “hallucinated.”
  
• Always verify important information, just like you would from another person.
  

C. Human-First Approach: “Be clear about what you’re asking for, because you might just get exactly what you asked for. Treat it like a high school student…or a college freshman on mushrooms.”

• AI enhances your why, your vision, and your voice.
  
• Use it as a collaborator for:
  
  • Writing letters (like the Future Self Letter exercise)
    
  • Structuring daily tasks
    
  • Social media content, when guided with proper context
    

D. Practical Tips:  “AI can make your brain lazy. If you don’t exercise it, you use it or lose it. Don’t let AI or your letter become busy work. Pair it with the actual work. Critical thinking skills are more important now than ever.”

• Give context: who you are, what you want, why it matters.
  
• Ask AI to ask you questions back (“What else do you need to know from me?”).
  
• Customize settings (voice, saved memories, custom instructions).
  
• Don’t let AI become “busy work.” Balance letter refining with real action steps.
  
• Remember: AI is a helpful tool, but can also make mistakes. Use discernment.
  

3. Application: The Future Self Letter: “Your why is a living, breathing, evolving being. So your letter will never be done. Comfort never created a crown. Growth lives where your excuses used to.”

• This original exercise was introduced at Renew 2025 Convention and continued in this training.
  
• Helps Brand Partners clarify their why and future vision.
• AI guides the writing, but the power comes from the human input.
  
• Tip: Revisit and refine your letter regularly, but pair it with daily action steps.
  
  

4. Integration with Daily Tasks

• AI can provide daily motivational messages.
• Partners can customize tone (“hard truth,” “encouraging,” “Brené Brown,” etc.).
  
• Use it to track activities: reach-outs, events, follow-ups.
  
• Always pair refinement (editing) with action (calls, connections, outreach).
