Community Action with the Million Mom Movement

How to Grow Your Business Through Community Action

Million Mom Movement Training Recap

This week’s Million Mom Movement training focused on one powerful strategy: hosting in person events to grow both impact and income.

Dominique Jeffries opened the call by sharing her personal journey. Before Purium, she was working long hours in hospitality while modeling, physically exhausted and financially stretched. After being introduced to the Core 4, she experienced dramatic improvements in sleep, energy, and overall wellbeing. She became a Brand Partner in April 2020 with no business experience, learned as she earned, and built leveraged residual income over time. Today she lives in Arizona and works the business alongside her sister, creating freedom and stability for their family.

The heart of the training centered on community outreach.

Why In Person Events Matter

Dominique explained that while many partners think first about gyms or juice bars, the real opportunity lies in serving communities that may not already be immersed in health culture. She chose senior living communities because of her personal connection to her grandparents and their health journeys.

The key lesson: choose spaces that feel aligned with your heart and story.

The Outreach Strategy

She shared simple scripts that anyone can duplicate.

Step 1: Lead With a Question

Instead of explaining Purium immediately, she asked:

  • Do you host wellness events for residents?
  • Who can I speak with about upcoming wellness expos?

This approach opened conversations naturally and positioned her as a resource.

Step 2: Keep the Email Simple

Her follow up email included:

  • A reminder of how she was referred
  • A brief introduction to Purium
  • Benefits tailored to the audience (joint mobility, cognitive support, energy, digestion)
  • An offer to provide fresh juice samples
  • A link to the Environmental Promise page
  • A personal touch referencing their conversation

This concise structure created credibility without overwhelming them.

The Results

From one in person visit:

  • She received 10 additional referrals
  • Hosted a Healthy Happy Hour social
  • Participated in a Wellness Expo
  • Gained 3 new customers
  • Collected over 20 leads

She emphasized that sampling makes a major difference. Offering fresh juice creates an experience rather than just handing out pamphlets.

Lessons From the Q and A

Several partners shared their own event experiences:

  • Hosting Common Ground watch parties at home and church
  • Sampling at homeschooling co ops
  • Managing events solo without a team
  • Asking prospects if they would like help before offering solutions

The takeaway was clear: perfection is not required. Action builds confidence.

Upcoming Opportunities

The call also highlighted:

  • Performance product promotions
  • The Superfood Social event in Long Beach
  • A March Common Ground viewing party
  • The PHP Moms Making Money hashtag contest
  • Feedback submission forms to shape future trainings

The Bigger Mission

Dominique closed with a powerful reminder: if 1,000 partners each impact 10 families in 100 communities, reaching 1 million families becomes possible.

Start with 10.

Choose a community. Ask a question. Bring samples. Build relationships.

Community action is not complicated. It is simply consistent, heart led outreach multiplied over time.
