Common Ground Watch Party: From Awareness to Action
Nearly 400 participants gathered for a powerful screening and discussion of the documentary Common Ground, a film that exposes the dangers of glyphosate in our food system while highlighting the hope found in regenerative agriculture.
The film sparked meaningful conversation about soil health, chemical exposure, and the interconnectedness of our ecosystems. One of the strongest themes echoed throughout the discussion was this: when soil is restored, it regenerates. When the body is supported, it restores. Nature is designed to heal when given the right conditions.
Glyphosate and the Human Impact
Glyphosate has become pervasive in modern agriculture and is now widely present in the food supply. During the discussion, Dave Sandoval shared that Purium developed a solution in response to growing concerns about this chemical exposure.
Biomedic, a core Purium product, was tested in a small-scale human clinical trial and demonstrated up to 74% removal of glyphosate in six weeks. Participants also experienced reductions in C-reactive protein, a biomarker associated with inflammation. As glyphosate levels decreased, inflammation markers moved in a favorable direction, reinforcing the relationship between toxin load and inflammatory response.
The takeaway was clear: while we may not be able to eliminate environmental exposure overnight, we can support the body’s natural detoxification systems daily.
The Ultimate Lifestyle Transformation
The conversation expanded into Purium’s Ultimate Lifestyle Transformation, a foundational system designed to nourish and cleanse the body consistently. Dave highlighted:
- PowerShake as a superfood base combining concentrated plant nutrition
- Super Aminos for highly efficient protein utilization
- Biomedic for glyphosate and detox support
- Additional cleansing and restorative support products
- The importance of quality sleep in regeneration
A key message repeated throughout the event was consistency. Exposure happens daily. Support must also happen daily.
Community-Based Action
Beyond products, the watch party emphasized movement and momentum. Participants committed to hosting additional screenings, inviting friends, and expanding the conversation. The idea of a community-based economy was discussed as a way to support regenerative farming, organic practices, and aligned supply chains.
Rather than leaving the documentary feeling overwhelmed, attendees were encouraged to take personal and collective action:
- Choose cleaner nutrition
- Support regenerative practices
- Share educational resources
- Build community
The Bigger Picture
The film reminded us that everything is connected. Soil health, human health, farming practices, and community economics all influence one another.
The event closed with a call to action: this is only the beginning. With continued education, consistent nutritional support, and a growing community of advocates, meaningful change is possible.
The next goal? Max out the next Zoom with 1,000 people and continue spreading the message.
