July Recognition: Keep the Rhythm and Build August Momentum
The August Recognition Zoom, hosted by Debbie Darling, celebrated the Brand Partners who brought consistency, intention, and community spirit to their Purium businesses throughout July. The call highlighted both measurable progress and the personal actions behind that progress, reinforcing that transformation is often built through small steps repeated over time.
The message throughout the evening was simple: wherever you are in your business rhythm, your next action matters.
July Momentum Across the Purium Community
July gave Brand Partners 12 different programs and activities they could use to connect, share, follow up, and move their businesses forward. These included programs such as Share Because You Care, Widen Your Reach, Action Declaration, product reviews, and other monthly opportunities.
Debbie shared several encouraging participation numbers:
- 664 Brand Partners participated in at least one program.
- 342 Brand Partners completed an Action Declaration at the beginning of July.
- 310 of those who declared followed through with at least one action.
- 231 Brand Partners participated in three or more programs.
- 26 Brand Partners participated in eight or more programs, placing them in the Full Rhythm category.
- 47 Brand Partners participated in six or seven programs, placing them Deep in the Rhythm.
The call also recognized Brand Partners who were Leaning Into the Rhythm, Finding the Rhythm, or taking their First Beat. Debbie emphasized that every level of participation deserves to be celebrated. One invitation, one follow-up, one story, one event, or one supported customer can become the beginning of a stronger and more consistent business rhythm.
Plug In and Use the Tools Around You
Several of the featured Brand Partners shared that their progress began when they stopped trying to figure everything out alone and started using the tools already available to them.
Lana Certified explained that the different promotions, printable resources, team recommendations, and training moments began to work together once she fully plugged in. Advice about becoming a better inviter helped simplify her approach. Instead of feeling pulled in multiple directions, she focused on inviting people to opportunities such as the Superfood Social.
She also found practical value in simple organizational tools, including using a digital calendar to keep activities visible and manageable. Recommendations from other Brand Partners helped her understand how to approach different people and industries. For Lana, plugging in helped remove confusion and made consistent action feel more achievable.
Mary Beth Flemming shared a similar experience. With a busy summer schedule and changing family routines, she used the monthly business promo checklist as her roadmap. When she was unsure what to work on next, she returned to the checklist and selected one activity.
Mary Beth described the checklist as a North Star that could guide her toward an appropriate action based on her time and energy. If she did not feel ready to post on social media, she could choose an in-person activity or another type of outreach. The variety helped her continue moving without feeling that there was only one correct way to build.
The August 2026 business promo checklist includes additional reminders, Zoom information, and monthly promotions. Brand Partners can find it inside the DMK and use it to create a simple weekly plan.
Structure Creates Space for Creativity
Dominique Jeffries shared how she combines structure with storytelling. At the beginning of each month, she takes screenshots of the available promotions and then decides which opportunities she wants to focus on each week.
She also considers which stories she can share from her own experiences, her customers, and her Brand Partners. In July, this included sharing Purium blogs and talking about how her family incorporated the Summer Smoothie Pack into their routine.
Her approach shows that a plan does not need to limit creativity. A basic weekly structure can make it easier to recognize meaningful stories and share them with intention.
Leaders Set the Pace
Eric Misch spoke about the responsibility leaders have to participate in the same programs they encourage their teams to use. He reminded leaders that it can be difficult to expect others to take action when they are not modeling that action themselves.
After Eric leaned into the July programs, he saw increased activity throughout his team. Some Brand Partners who had become less active began posting, participating in Widen Your Reach, and reconnecting with their businesses.
What began as activity motivated by GQV opportunities eventually created new conversations and purchases. Eric described the programs as a way to generate movement, helping Brand Partners plant seeds that could continue growing throughout the month.
The lesson was not simply to reach a minimum number of points. It was to use the programs as a starting point for the income-producing and relationship-building activities that support a healthy business.
Relationships and Authenticity Come First
Tia Murphy shared that her success has been rooted in relationships with customers, friends, family members, and new people she meets. She had been introduced to Purium more than once, but it was the connection she felt with the person who eventually enrolled her that led her to say yes.
That experience shaped the way she now approaches others.
Tia emphasized the importance of remaining personally consistent with the products so Brand Partners can speak honestly and authentically about their experiences. She also continues checking in with people after they complete the ULT, asking what they enjoyed and helping them identify an appropriate next step.
She encouraged Brand Partners to seek guidance from mentors throughout their upline, even when their most active mentor is not their direct enroller. Staying connected to experienced leaders has helped her remain supported and inspired.
Allison Lester also spoke about the long-term value of relationships. After eight years of consistency, she has seen how trust can build gradually with an audience. Her reminder was that people sometimes stop before the relationships they are developing have had time to grow.
Consistent communication, genuine support, and patience helped Allison and Jared Curtis build an active enrolled team. Their example reflects the value of continuing to show up even when progress does not happen immediately.
Events Can Help Widen Your Reach
Kelley Wriston shared how she has been using networking groups, business communities, social groups, and in-person events to meet new people and create referral relationships.
One format that has worked particularly well for her is the lunch and learn for busy professionals. These events give people an opportunity to learn about simple ways to support their routines in an environment that feels relevant to their lives.
Kelley also discussed having Transformation Now boxes available at events so an interested person can get started while their enthusiasm and intention are still fresh. Her experience demonstrated how preparation can help remove unnecessary delays from the enrollment process.
Consistency, Commitment, and Planting Seeds
Ian Farrar reflected on more than two decades of experience and encouraged Brand Partners to remain consistent and committed. He compared enrolling and mentoring people to planting seeds. Not every seed will grow into a large organization, but leaders cannot discover which relationships have long-term potential unless they continue planting and nurturing.
He also reminded Brand Partners that building a business requires both accepting setbacks and celebrating wins. Not every person will remain engaged, but each new conversation creates another opportunity to find someone who shares the vision.
Ian encouraged Brand Partners to speak with people for whom Purium could be a genuine fit rather than feeling responsible for convincing or carrying everyone. The strongest partnerships often begin when someone already sees the possibility and is ready to participate.
Celebrating New Leadership
The call welcomed and recognized several new directors, including Kendra Carter, Kimberly DeLisio, Janelle Lovewell, Rebecca Lukey, Jenniffer May, American Family Policy Institute, Elizabeth Seegers, and Kristina Thames.
Kimberly shared how her professional background initially made her skeptical. After reviewing Purium through the lens of her previous experience, she became enthusiastic about sharing it and reconnecting with people throughout her network. She credited Ariel Welch, Sonia Magruder, and her community for supporting her early momentum.
Kendra explained that she began sharing after being introduced to Purium by Cynthia Wilson. When her seasonal work schedule created financial pressure, she decided to explore the business opportunity. She appreciated being able to build according to the time available to her, whether that meant several hours or one small action.
Sandra Lee credited mentorship and a willingness to take action even when she felt uncertain. Having someone available to guide her helped her move through fear rather than waiting for fear to disappear.
Elizabeth Seegers also expressed gratitude for the support of Tara Ivins. She described how her personal experience inspired her to share with people in her professional and personal circles. Individual experiences are personal and are not a promise of typical results.
Supporting the Complete 12-Week Journey
The Zoom also celebrated ULT and LTD Lifestyle Leaders and the Brand Partners who earned Airbnb contest gift cards by helping people continue through their lifestyle journey.
Sonia Magruder emphasized the importance of explaining the complete 12-week program from the beginning. Customers and Brand Partners benefit from understanding that they will receive support throughout the first three months and that continued communication is part of the experience.
Regular check-ins help people understand their routine, ask questions, and feel supported. This guidance can strengthen loyalty, consistency, and connection well beyond the initial enrollment.
August is the final enrollment month for the current Airbnb gift card opportunity. To qualify, Brand Partners need to help someone begin the ULT in August and continue supporting them through September and October.
August Opportunities and Reminders
Debbie closed the call with several ways Brand Partners can keep the rhythm going throughout August:
Product Reviews
Brand Partners can submit reviews for featured products and receive 25 GQV per review. Reviews provide valuable customer perspective and help others make more informed product decisions.
August Hashtag Contests
Three hashtag contests are available:
- #PHPSummerSmoothie
- #PHPPantry
- #PHPReadyForSchool
Each contest will select 10 winners, with each winner receiving 200 GQV. Brand Partners can select the theme that best fits their story or participate in all three.
Debbie’s Office Hours
Brand Partners are invited to join Debbie’s Thursday office hours at noon Pacific. This community event gives participants a place to bring questions, ideas, and suggestions.
Supporting Sleep With Purium
The August schedule includes a Supporting Sleep with Purium Zoom featuring Dave Sandoval. Sleep Nightly sample packs are also available again.
During the August enrollment promotion, a newly enrolled Brand Partner will receive five Sleep Nightly sample packs with gift-code cards. The enrolling Brand Partner will also receive five sample packs.
Weekend Zoom Support
Every Saturday during August at 2 p.m. Pacific, Brand Partners can join a ULT support and question-and-answer Zoom with Amy or Dave.
Sunday business opportunity Zooms are also available, giving Brand Partners another event to share with people who would like to learn more about Purium.
Purium Community and Social Activities
Brand Partners can join the new Purium Community Facebook group, leave a comment, take a screenshot, and submit it through the back office for 25 GQV.
Additional activity is available through the PHP Sleep Nightly Instagram account.
The Purium Hub
The new Purium Hub brings important Purium links together in one place. Brand Partners can save the Hub on their phones for convenient access to resources, events, and business tools.
Debbie also reminded everyone to review the August business promo checklist and the current mini marathon opportunity.
Add One More Beat
July showed that there is no single pace required to make progress. Some Brand Partners participated in nearly every available program. Others took their first action.
Both matter.
As August continues, choose one invitation, one follow-up, one story, one event, or one customer to support. Then build from there.
Small, consistent actions help create transformation, strengthen community, and keep the rhythm moving forward.
