Purium’s philosophy is that most suffering isn’t due to underlying disease, but rather a lack of wisdom, specifically concerning proper nutrition. However, it’s important to note that even a small number of calories can break a fast. While some Purium products have minimal calories, individuals practicing strict intermittent fasting should be mindful of this, limiting caloric intake to only a few Super Amino tablets during a fasting period or consuming only water, meditating, or doing light stretching.

What are Super Aminos and what is the recommended intake for optimal protein consumption?
Super Aminos are Purium’s protein supplement and they are recommended as a replacement for meat, especially for those transitioning to a plant-based diet. The ideal intake varies based on individual factors like age, weight, height, and activity level, the recommended maximum is 30 tablets per day for adults. A general guideline would be approximately 15 tablets a day for adults for optimal protein intake, and if seeking a vegan lifestyle, then up to 30 per day are recommended.
